What are mycotoxins?
Mycotoxins are natural substances produced by moulds. All natural materials including poultry feed ingridients are subject to contamination by moulds and under favourable environmental conditions, when temperature and moisture are conducive, these fungi proliferate and may produce mycotoxins. Over 500 mycotoxins have been identified and those which have proven negative impact on animal and poultry health and performance are
AFLATOXIN
OCHRATOXIN
ZERALENONE
T1 & T2
.How do mycotoxins affect poultry ?
Mycotoxins mainly exert their effects through decreasing immunity which lead to several problems related to infectious disease
also damage of liver and kidney by mycotoxin leads to impaired growth and low FCR
so the main symptoms caused by mycotoxicosis can be seen as
– impaired growth
– vaccination failure
– low fertility and hatchability
– decrease in egg production
– decrease in feed consumption
– high mortality
.Previntion and treatment of mycotoxin effects
several mechanisms are used to overcome mycotoxin in poultry feeds which mainly act by two ways either decompostion of toxins or adsorption of it
our product probond are mainly acting by binding to different toxins especially aflatoxins
after binding to the toxin it can be excerted from animal body safely
